It’s all Style

I love Kate. I dont know wether it’s her bright, open smile who puts everyone under a spell or her absolut way of style; however this small intimate, 2 hour civil wedding at Stadthaus (courthouse), in the heart of Zurich just had it all. Kate is from the US and followed her husband to settle down in Switzerland.  Kate’s dress, to be zipped up the all the way on her back, looked stunning with her long, beautiful legs. With her lovely shoes, her style was completed on top with a birdcage veil. She was a picture of a lady! Absolutely cute where the photo prints hanging on a cord with clothespins – a small detail, but so special and the little „something“ to add for a wedding. As Kate’s Grandma couldn’t attend the civil wedding in Zurich, they made a Skype connection directly into the ceremony itself with and Ipad. What a great idea to have loved ones involved, even they are far away. Internet makes it possible!

When I look at other weddings in the US I sometimes feel, that these brides are more into small details, vintage and maybe a bit more brave about what to wear then brides in Switzerland. I hear from them the words „not too much“ or „only a litte“ a lot, which makes me belive, they are afraid of hitting it over to top.  But isn’t the own wedding the day, that it’s absolutely okay to add a bit more to it? Or to wear something, that makes it different than other brides? After all, it’s a single day and the bride is in the center of it all. So go for it ladies, for most of us, we only get married once…
